Flight 44 : Kasaba Bay to Kasompe, Zambia

Continueing my New Year's Eve touch-and-go tour through central Africa.

I know, I'm in Africa, why am I flying in US Air Express livery? Because I know I won't be using this when I get back to North America.

Anyway ... I left Kasaba Bay at 15:00and flew to Samfya, Zambia - Touch-and-go runway 12 at 14:50,then to Kolwezi, DRC runway 29 at 15:45 and finally Kasompe, Zambia runway 11 at 16:32

602 miles this afternoon.

Flight 43 : Kigali, Rwanda to Kasaba Bay, Zambia

Sending 2008 out with a bit of a different kind of flight. Flying around one of my favorite real-world areas, I wanted to see a lot more than just flying over the areas so I set up a zig-zagging course covering about 859 miles in the Worldwide Airways Q-400. My goal was to perform a touch-and-go at EACH airport (unless otherwise noted).

Real-World lava flows have covered the northern 1/3 of the runway/airport so I only use the southern HALF of Goma airport!
